Who We Are
The Pet Resort is owned and operated by Marianne Alliston.
Marianne has a B.S. degree in Dairy and Animal Science from Pennsylvania State University. She has many years of experience in breeding, training and raising felines and exotics. She spent 2 years at Westland Veterinarian Hospital where she obtained valuable medical pet care and grooming experience, as well as wildlife rehabilitation experience. She has successfully managed several businesses including two pet stores, and her own pet sitting, grooming and boarding business. Marianne is also a certified instructor of Pet First Aid and CPR for the Washtenaw County Red Cross. Marianne currently owns and takes care of a rottweiler, a chow mix, an american staffordshire terrier, a siamese cat, a parrotlet, a quaker parrot, a bearded dragon, three degu's and two molly euromastics.
